About this position:

As a Graduate Engineer at ANCA Motion, you’ll be responsible to provide the interface between customers, sales, support, marketing, and engineering for ANCA Motion controls and products
Reporting directly to the Applications Engineering Team Leader, you’ll be working with Design Engineers of all disciplines and additionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing and other Production Departments as well as Marketing, Quality and After Sales.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide assistance in software application development including PP / PLC / HMI / etc
  • Prototyping / mock-ups of HMI’s / Part programs etc. and Technology demonstrations
  • Manage and support with the integration of ANCA Motion products in the field
  • Electrical Design / Electrical drawings and Commissioning
  • Project Management to ensure customer milestones are met
  • Record keeping of service faults, service calls, technical support
  • Carry out minor electronic repairs within the branch if required.
  • Pre-sales support to provide assurances to the potential client that the product will work as per their needs/requirements
  • Gather and feedback market intelligence (e.g. customers and their needs, competitors, product gap, product differentiators, etc…) through customer and market contact

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some knowledge and practical experience in CNC Control Systems or Automation and aspects of machine tool construction, i.e., mechanical, electrical, PLC and software
  • Project Management skills desirable.
  • A desire to work in a quality-driven environment
