About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer at ANCA, you'll be responsible for the mechanical design and development of quality products using sound engineering judgement, to meet the communicated company/department goals. You'll report directly to the Product Development Manager and working with Design Engineers of all disciplines and additionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing and other Production Departments as well as Marketing, Quality and After Sales.

This is to be completed in conjunction with techniques and systems to implement and support engineering functions that achieve innovative ideas and direction, quality workflows and globally applied technical direction whilst creating a collaborative, cohesive and supportive environment for Design Engineering personnel


  • Proven technical competency in specific engineering discipline
  • Proven comprehension of design principles and their application to machine tool design
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage small to medium projects, prioritizing tasks and delivering within agreed time frame
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external suppliers
  • Demonstrated root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Demonstrate a practical application of data collection and analysis.
  • Experience in working with robots at integration and programming level is preferable.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office applications to a medium level particularly MS Excel
  • Proven skills in NX or other CAD/CAM systems
