Product Administrator

We are currently looking for a Product Administrator to join the Marketing team in our Bayswater North manufacturing plant.
 
Reporting through to the AMT Marketing Manager, the Product Administrator will ensure that the administrative activities related to Product Management are completed to enable customer satisfaction, business efficiency, and improved profits.
 
Responsibilities of the role include;
 
Product Administration:

  • Provide support for Product Managers to complete administrative tasks related to products, including but not limited to:
  • Part Number management
  • Price reviews
  • Change management
  • Publishing of information
  • Analysis of product data
  • Generating Reports
  • Administrative tasks around NPD 
  • Tradeshow coordination of displayed products in conjunction with Product Managers, Engineering, Production, and the Branches.
  • Maintain Training matrix for Sales and Marketing and report on status. 
Product Marketing:
  • Manage and Maintain the accessory catalogue.
  • Responsible for accessory related content for online marketing including web site content, E-sales activities, and other online marketing channels. 
Sales Administration:
  • Maintain standard price lists in accordance with Product Managers recommendations.
  • Report on sales of product to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Sales staff have access to up to date information on products and pricing. 
Financial Management:
  • Provide regular analysis of product cost and margins. Work with Product Managers to identify suitable cost down opportunities as well as opportunities for price changes to maximize margins.
 
The successful candidate must hold the below skills, qualifications and competencies;
 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) or an equivalent of 1 - 3 years in related marketing, sales, engineering, or operations roles.
  • Understanding of product structures, cost calculations, ERP processes, and sales processes
  • Prepare complex briefs, letters, emails, and reports using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language, edits written communications to ensure they contain the information necessary to achieve their purpose and meet audience needs, ensures appropriate styles and formats are used.
  • Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably, uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems, has creative and innovative ideas and can translate these into actions.
  • Proactive and self starting, seizes opportunities and acts upon them, takes responsibility for own actions.
  • Sets clearly defined objectives and priorities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required; identifies processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal, establishes systems and procedures to guide work and track progress, recognizes actual and potential barriers and risks and finds effective ways to manage them.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with people at all levels, promotes harmony and consensus through diplomatic handling of disagreements, forges useful partnerships with people across business areas, functions, and organizations; builds trust through consistent actions, values and communication and minimizes surprises.
