Project Manager - Enterprise Solutions

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Reporting through to the Chief Information Officer for the two years fixed term period, the Project Manager – Enterprise Applications  will support the development of software supported business processes and applications across ANCA platforms and lead all approved business systems projects. The initial focus of this position will be on the delivery of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Service management and PowerBI capability.

Responsibilities of the role include;

Project Management

  • Identify system and process improvements for increased effectiveness, efficiencies, compliance and global standardization.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to make recommendations to the Chief Information Officer on the project tasks and activities to be included on the Project Roadmap.
  • Define with key stakeholders the priorities of project related tasks and activities.
  • Interface with IT and key business stakeholders (Operations, Finance and other functions) to identify system definition and adherence to a global common template.
  • Lead UX, mobility and digital improvement
  • Provide documentation of internal business processes as part of any review.
  • Work with functional areas to understand business processes and aid users in becoming more efficient and effective in using ANCA systems.
  • Establish project plans, milestones and deliverables in consultation with Project Teams and the vendors.
  • Provide regular updates to the Chief Information Officer and others as required in regards to project cost, time and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the activities of project work to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to the schedule and communicated.
  • Provide leadership to the project to ensure that the work is conducted on time, within the quality requirements, within specifications and within budget.
  • Liaise with Department Executives to ensure the proper coordination of each project phase.
  • Define and coordinate the project resources required for relevant project activities.
  • Build relationships with key team members to ensure that concerns are raised and dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with day to day issues (on going issues)

Project Documentation

  • Promote the use of the project folders, as defined in the Project Management Process, for all project documentation.
  • Release meeting minutes in a timely manner and ensure all items are documented and followed up regularly.
  • Co-ordinate the overall system design through the use of standards, such as flow charts, Gantt charts value stream maps etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of project charters and business cases for each recommended project activity.
  • Ensure full timely release of user guides and other relevant training materials that support both the use and prototyping of modules.
  • Report project risks to the Chief Information Officer along with recommendations to minimize any impacts.

The successful candidate must hold the below skills, qualifications and competencies;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Business or Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years in positions of increasing responsibility in the field of ERP management
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills and ability including project documentation
  • Proven People Management skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and organize work priorities for self and the team
  • Demonstrate a flexible and “can do” attitude
  • Able to work on agreed initiatives with minimal support
  • Willingness and availability to travel abroad as required
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Able to meet deadlines plan and organize work priorities
  • Minimum of 5 years applications support and project management experience at ANCA or equivalent type operation
