Reporting to the Custom Solution Manager, the position is responsible for the special products development, execution of projects and support the production of quality products using sound engineering judgement meeting the communicated company / department goals and quality targets.

Key accountabilities for this position include:


  • Establish project plans, business cases, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Resource planning and scheduling
  • Work within the ANCA project management framework following and contributing towards establishing best practices.
  • Monitoring Progress - coordinate and drive activities of the project team to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding as per schedule – calculating Earned Value frequently
  • Analysing and managing project risks
  • Provide leadership to project teams to ensure that the project is completed on time, meeting quality requirements and on agreed budget.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in project management processes and execution.
  • Liaise and coordinate with production, marketing, purchasing to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Understand and follow the stage gate process to seek budget approvals and any shifts along the way specifying the factual reasons
  • Project reporting to stakeholders and project sponsors / executive team at regular intervals..
  • Manage project end-to-end from design through to customer acceptance and installation (including BOM / parts management and build coordination)
  • Effective liaison and coordination with external customers and ANCA branches globally ensuring the customer expectations are met​ 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills, across multiple levels of the business.
  • Proven Project Management and planning skills.
  • Formal Project Management qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Demonstrated time & stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to proactively drive continuous improvement in the project management function.
  • Ability to contribute to the business strategy at a management level.
  • Maintaining the broader perspective of corporate objectives, focus and impetus.
  • Results driven and outcome focussed
  • Proactive and thorough approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Technical background and experience required, with an Engineering qualification highly desirable
  • Proficiency with MS Project or MS Project Enterprise.
  • Uncompromising attitude towards health and safety
  • Follow and demonstrate engineering values and behaviours
  • Pragmatic attitude towards risk
